The PhD research is situated within the disciplines of multi-species ethnography and human-computer interaction. Using arts-based methods and critical posthuman theory, I investigate the ‘socialities’ of an edible plant, asparagus. This research aims to foreground the actors entangled with asparagus and highlight certain needs and relations between us, humans; technologies used in agri-food systems; and the plants.
