From 2018 to 2022, Anna was responsible for coordinating the ‘Shape Your World!’ competition. Since 2003 C³ Center for Culture & Communication Foundation organises the annual creative, “freestyle” competition for young people (under 19), resulting in a weekend of workshops, an award ceremony as well as an exhibition.
Examples from previous years’ entries include animation, apps, websites, software, hardware, VR and AI projects among others. The primary objective of the competition is to encourage thinking outside of the box when it comes to new computer-based technologies. The competition has an average of 250 entries/year.
The creators of the winning projects can present their works in the framework of our international partner network, consisting of Ars Electronica’s u19 competition in Linz and the Deutscher Multimediapreis by the Medienkulturzentrum Dresden. This is a valuable networking opportunity for talented youth. Our common project, I’m (not) a robot explored the differences and similarities between humans and machines in an international group, through input sessions and mentoring.
